Ah, democracy! Once you pay a government enough money in the form of contributions and bribes, you can get it to shake down your competitors and block their products from coming to market. This keeps prices and profit margins high and shareholders happy. And it looks like HP has been very active in using government to stop competition.

Can anyone imagine that ordinary voters would pass such laws if they were actually put before them? Of course they wouldn’t, and that’s why these laws are complicated, full of obfuscating language, and attached to other garbage bills that nobody reads so they can sail through in the dark of night.

Question for the author: Were you paid to write this corporate propaganda, or did you spontaneously decide to spout it yourself?
