Free. It's not that complicated. You can do what you want so long as you are not hurting someone else.

There are a million tiny quibbles, of course, which is what law was invented for. You can't take someone's property or trespass, you can't play your music super loud at 3 a.m. and disturb your neighbors, that sort of thing.

There are many other issues which are more contentious. But the overall direction should be toward freedom and away from rules and government.

That's it, that's the philosophy in a nutshell. I scratch my head and wonder how people can find a way to make that simple idea into something dark and evil. I can only conclude there are a lot of angry people out there, and a lot of people who want to tell others what to do and when to do it, or to take from them what they have built or worked for. If you're looking for evil, look in that direction.
