Here's a list of America's armed conflicts, past and present:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_armed_conflicts_involving_the_United_States
There are an astounding number of conflicts there, including several that are ongoing, and that most people are not at all aware are happening. We are currently blockading Yemen, occupying a piece of Syria, and up to God-knows-what in Somalia. We just finished with Afghanistan and left after stealing all the money they had on account in American banks. There is a terrible food crisis going on there right NOW and it is most definitely our fault.
I could go on, but you get the point. We are in no position to get up on our high horse and start yelling about Russia's evil behavior when we have our own past and present to think about.
We played a role in getting the Ukraine war started. NATO trained and armed troops on Russia's border despite numerous and frequent warnings from Russia that it was an intolerable provocation, much the same as Russia trying to install nuclear missiles in Cuba. There was NO WAY we were going to tolerate that, and we knew full well Russia would not tolerate a NATO or psuedo-NATO presence in Ukraine.
We did it anyway. We also encouraged (Read: forced) Ukraine to refuse to negotiate back in December when Russia laid out their demands: No NATO in Ukraine, Recognize Crimea as Russia, and independence for Lugansk and Donetsk. Ukraine refused and Russia attacked.
Now Russia has Lugansk, Donetsk, Crimea and more firmly under their control. Tens of thousands have died and more yet will die. We KNEW this would happen, we could have reached an agreement to avoid it in December, but instead actively encouraged it. All this from our wildly aggressive and warlike foreign policy.
Please refer to the Wikipedia link if you need convincing about "wildly aggressive and warlike". And if you want to direct your moral outrage at a worthy target, direct it at Washington for what is currently happening in Yemen and Afghanistan.
