It is economic weakness which drives homelessness.

The political system is getting on in years and has become calcified and corrupt. Industries like healthcare and education are able to force their prices and costs on consumers through their political power.

The calcified political system finances itself through money printing, picking everyone's pockets, and distributes that money to themselves, their friends, and the financial elite.

By stealing your bread and throwing crumbs back to you, the public has become impoverished.

Nothing is going to change until the financial system collapses and we somehow detatch the vampires in Washington from our necks.

Honestly, it may be hopeless.
