The author's belief system clearly values duty to society higher than freedom. Lots of ideologies and religions do. Myself, I am a libertarian, and I put freedom high on the list and duty to society lower. It's not that i don't think duty to society doesn't have a place, it is just that I value freedom more.

Some belief systems like Christianity put freedom relatively low, but value things like love and duty to family highest. Others have different priorities.

One belief system that values duty to society higher than freedom and love is Fascism. Duty to society is the highest priority in that belief system. Because lots of people had trouble defining Fascism, I'll refer to Benito Mussolini for the definition. I hear he knew a thing or two about the subject. Here are some choice quotes:

"Fascism accepts the individual only insofar as his interests coincide with the state's."

"People are tired of liberty. They have had a surfeit of it. Liberty is no longer a chaste and austere virgin.... Today's youth are moved by other slogans...Order, Hierarchy, Discipline."

"Believe. Obey. Fight."

"All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state."

That last quote is probably the purest definition of fascism I could imagine. Essentially, the marriage of the corporation and the state. Freedom is nowhere to be found, and it is at the bottom of their list of values.

I have been watching in horror as my fellow Americans renounce the value of freedom and cackle with glee as the tech lords censor and silence opposition voices in service to their political bed buddies in Washington. This unholy alliance between the big corporations and the state is Fascism, the very thing our grandparents fought so hard to defeat back in World War Two.

Fascists hate freedom more than anything else, and you can identify them by their loud denunciations of the idea. You can also identify them because they like to force people to do things. They will MAKE them shut up, and they will MAKE them take a vaccine they don't want to take. Personally, I think people should take the vaccine. But it is someone's God-given right not to take it if they don't want to.

Fight the fascists. Fight the censorship. Fight the constant assaults on your rights and on your freedom. If you don't, how long before the fascists MAKE you do something you really don't want to do?
