The most important thing to remember is that most of the value destruction of money comes during the medium to heavy phase, which is where we are right now.
That loaf of bread jumped from 0.25 to 3.00 in four years. Then the next year it jumped to 700. You look at that and think, "wow! The jump to 3 Marks sucks, but 700 is where it gets really serious."
NO!
The heavy period of 0.25 to 3.00 ate more than 90 percent of the value of the money. At that point it was almost completely ruined. All your savings were ashes. The jump from 3 to 700 was just that last, miserable 8% going up in smoke. The damage had already been done.
Get yourself into hard assets now, while you still can. Boring assets without leverage. Gold and silver. Or if you are into crypto then Bitcoin or Monero, not the shitcoins. Stay away from the trash.
Be careful, and good luck. We live in interesting times.
