There are beautiful levels and there are well planned and tricky levels that challenge and confound. Some are elaborate but easily defeated with stealth play, others require more thought and care--and reloads.

Dishonored two is the game I most recently played, and some of the levels are just mind blowing. A Crack in the Slab has the Stilton mansion in two time periods--ruined present and glorious past--and an elegant fan with which to view activity in either place. It's a very compelling mechanic, one that I've never seen implemented so well in any other game.

The Clockwork Mansion is probably the most intricate and beautiful level, but it is pretty easy to get through once you find the space between the walls. The mechanical creativity though, is astonishing, and has to be seen to be believed.
