There are many ways to look at any event and mature, reasonable people can disagree and still debate and get along. Immature and unreasonable people are beyond persuasion. They don't want to talk, they don't want to listen, and maybe they're prefer to fight. And you know what? It might be OK to use force or violence to make you shut up because you're such a bad person. Maybe shut up forever would be better.

This is what it sounds like:

--You are wrong. End of story.

--t's the way I say it is. Period.

--Anyone who says otherwise is a traitor / commie racist / Nazi / whatever

--You're just getting paid to say that.

--You're just a shill for Putin / the alt-right / socialists

You get the idea. This kind of "uncivil society" is leading somewhere dark. Try not to cheer it on.
