They are not fact checkers, they are censors. Apply the right label and it's easy to see what is being done.

The factual correctness of the article is unimportant, and quibbling about the details just contributes to the censor's power. When you focus your argument on whether what was said was technically correct or not, you have essentially conceded that the censor rightfully has the power to censor or stamp "pack of lies" on your article.

Your article is political hyperbole, and like most such pieces it is a mix of opinion, facts, assertions, and persuasion. Any fool can see that it is a political piece aimed at persuading the reader to your position, and so the reader must take care to weigh the words against their own knowledge of the world and make up their own minds. If people didn't do this, they really would believe six impossible things before breakfast every day. People can handle contrary and even misleading opinions all by themselves, just as they always have.

Censorship is deeply un-American, and I'm sure the older generations are rolling in their graves right now. If you are a "fact checker", you should stop it right now. Quit. Whatever paltry salary you may be drawing is not worth working for the Devil, the Man, the Empire, or whatever you want to call it. Quit now, and save your soul, your dignity, and your self-respect.
