You just need your judgement and your common sense. Recognize that the lies are flying fast and thick. If someone tells you to believe them and not your own lying eyes, reevaluate.

I follow Glen Greenwald, Caitlin, Matt Taibbi and Garland Nixon. I avoid all major news sources like CNN and even Fox, but I do watch Tucker Carlson for a hoot. He stays the course on a lot of important issues.

Most news stories you get in standard news feed like Yahoo news and whatnot come from AP or Reuters or the French news service. Western intelligence services regularly inject stories into that flow through friendly and compromised reporters. They don't have your best interests at heart, to put it mildly.

There are some heroes out there and there are an enormous number of compromised journalists working for the Man. You'll eventually learn to distinguish. This is not a right-left conflict. It's the people vs. the elites, the rebels against the Empire.
