You think you know what is true, but you do not, no matter how certain you feel. Having it your way means that the government or a corporation acting in proxy for the government must decide that certain things are true and certain things are false, and then move to suppress what they think is false.

And that's political. Even if your Ministry of Truth were composed entirely of perfect philosopher kings they would be infiltrated by the political sphere and put to work censoring political opposition. It is the nature of politics and power. People with strong views, like yourself, along with the innumerable people who seek power for its own sake will use the agency to force their views on people who disagree and ruin free speech, which sows the seeds of civil discord, and civil war.

Freedom of speech means putting up with opinions you don't like. Forcing your ideas on others doesn't change their minds or prevent the spread of their ideas, it just makes them dig in and get ready to fight. Keep the peace. Respect freedom of speech.
